Cono Morena was born and raised in Teggiano, a town in Campania, Italy. He moved to New York City in 1995 and began working at San Marco, a Brooklyn pizzeria of his wife Anna's grandfather. During this time, Cono began learning and experimenting with traditional Italian cuisine, and he realized that he had a love and passion for creating dishes.

This restaurant was recommended by someone as a great place to celebrate an anniversary in NYC and they were right! It was elegant, peaceful, and not overly expensive. Our servers were very attentive and the food was delicious. We felt very appreciated there and they even brought out a specially decorated dessert.
The food here was some of the best I had on my trip - the eggplant stack was very flavorful and the mushroom pasta had a very umami cream sauce that made me want to get every last drop of it with the bread. The staff were friendly, and even dining as one person I felt comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!
